It seems so! Because I just can't believe - being a table author myself - that a game with three Balls it is meant to be finished after about 20 secs and 7 Points!? This is another really gorgeous release by SPHERE, accomplished with beautiful and relaxing Music - just the way I love his tables. But this 'relaxing' effect vanished immediately after playing three games, not scoring over ten points! I may not be the world's best Pinball player, but I usually get my Replays (on real ones) and can enter my initials to the high score list quite often. On this table though, the name seems somehow to desribe the gamplay - it's just "harvesting" the Balls in play!
Therefore I have to ask again: Did I miss something? Is there a way (skillshot) to close those Gates right away when the Ball is served to the Flippers? Because if I just hit some drops (BTW: I love this huge load of drops!) the Ball's angle, bouncing off there, leads straight towards the side drains - the harvest is over, the Ball lost and the fun too!
A pity... or did I really miss something?

| I think it is because sphere just puts too much space leading to the side holes so the ball has larger probabilizy to fall there then in the other tables |

Actually, this table is what I would consider an advanced player's table.
There are two rollover buttons that will bring up a gate to prevent the ball from draining on either side and if you don't roll-over those (with the help of either of the two additional flippers), you can always effect a timely nudge and keep them in play. Brilliant if you ask me.
As for the gameplay, it is a really nice and original machine. It's tops in my books as far as original tables go.
Kudos Sphere! |
