Hi sphere,
I have been playing your table for a few weeks now, and I can say that it is great man!!!! I love how artistic your tables are, and how they aren't overly difficult. Recently, I downloaded version 1.4, and was playing it and happened to get 5 balls on the table at once through hitting the multiball activator. This is the first time I have done this, but after about 20-30 seconds an error popped up and the table no longer functioned (with all the balls rolling down the drain, but no game over even). It said Pinball Meditation Error, and that it could not read line 3040, which when I checked has something to do with the kicker hole I think. I think that is because one of the five balls was in the kicker hole, while all the other balls were racking a different score or doing something else. I'm guessing this is my system that caused the problem, maybe a clash between hardware specs and the FP's requirements, I don't know. But I play every day and never have that error other than when the multiball gets up to 4 or more. Can you tell me what you think might be going on? Someone who commented on an FP message board said that they had 7 balls on at once, and they didn't speak of any problems with it. That's why I think it is probably a system vs. req's issue, but I try to turn everything as low as it can go. Please let me know if you have any ideas of how to solve this, if possible. If you have no idea, that's ok, just thought I would ask in case you do know. Thanks for your great tables and your consideration to help.

Awesome table!
Had one flaw so far out of 10 games...Had extra ball lit while in multiball mode, I then lost all the balls in play and the table refused to give me another ball, extra or normal.
Perfect table regardless. |

Dear Sphere -
Very nice table -- I have played and enjoyed. But I think there is a small
bug in table code ... and this may explain some of the other posted comments.
When the multi-ball "house" is empty (i.e., no ball queued up at Kicker 6),
Then a properly struck ball that is already in play can hit hole and actually strike Kicker6, which causes it to be destroyed and a new ball created over at Kicker1 -- but you still add 1 to the CountOfBallsInPlay so when the last real ball drains, the table is still waiting for a "phantom" ball to finish, which never happens and the table hangs.
And it seems to me this is most likely to happen when there are several balls in play.
(I am a newbie and only an occasional poster so I don't know if this post is the right way to do this or not.) |
